Yup that’s right! Custom images, I know you have all been asking!
With this method, you can have pixel-art in your Gimkit creative worlds.
Just follow these steps
Go to a google doc, or other writing software and create your pixel-art out of emojis.
Please note that it is important to have a filler pixel, such as the white one I am using here, that surrounds the entire picture, this allows Gimkit to format it correctly.
Now simply just paste it into a text box, but there is one problem… CHARACTER LIMIT! Don’t worry, this is easily solved with another text box, you just have to position them correctly. Please note that the bigger your pixel-art is, the more text boxes you will need to use.
Don’t make any inappropriate pictures using this method, if you do, I am not liable.
Also, don’t forget to share your creations in the reply section!
Hope you liked my guide! :D.
No actually a would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for asking me to rate your post, @BlueBear! Here’s my evaluation based on the provided criteria:
What They Did Well:
Clear Title: The title was both clear and engaging, immediately providing the reader with the knowledge of what they would learn from this tutorial.
Visuals: The use of screenshots was great. They helped illustrate the steps in a way that text alone wouldn’t be able to do.
Instructions: The instructions provided were clear, specific, and easy to follow. Each step was explained well and supported by an image.
Personal Touch: @BlueBear’s friendly and engaging writing style made the tutorial more relatable and enjoyable to read.
Value: This tutorial definitely offers value to Gimkit users who want to incorporate custom pixel art into their games.
Areas for Improvement:
Introduction: Although the guide starts with a clear title and an intriguing statement, an additional paragraph providing an overview of the guide’s purpose would have been beneficial.
Structure: While the guide was reasonably structured, dividing it into subheadings for each step could make it even easier to follow.
Length: While the guide was concise, some steps may require a bit more explanation to fully understand. For instance, how to overcome the character limit when creating larger pixel arts.
Conclusion: A brief conclusion summarizing the main points and maybe suggesting next steps or other resources for readers to explore would be beneficial.
Based on these points and how well they followed the rules, I’d rate this tutorial 7.5/10. It’s a strong guide with a unique topic, but could be enhanced with a bit more detail in some areas. Great job, @BlueBear! Keep up the good work!
Would anyone like me to try to copy the emoji files and paste them in a comment? (The examples that I have used) If so, tell me. Gimkit emojis on this forum do not paste into Gimkit creative directly, so I’d have to find another way.
