A sticky zone in games is where when you step somewhere, your speed severely goes down. In this tutorial, we’ll learn how to make one. The process is so easy that I don’t even need images.
Devices Required:
Zone(s)
Optional:
Speed Modifier(s)
Force Player Respawn x1
Trigger(s)
Step 1: Place down your “sticky” terrain. It can be anywhere, in any place.
Step 2: Place down zones that cover your terrain exactly.
Step 3: Make it so that when the player enters one of the zones, it broadcasts a message on a channel.
Step 4: Now, you can do whatever you want. You can add a speed modifier that when receiving on the broadcasted channel, makes the player a lot slower. You can make it so when the player steps on the sticky zone, they respawn. You can even make them go faster, like ice!
