Star Wars Battle

Hello All!

I am trying to create a Star Wars Battle. First order of business: I saw in a game once where the screen was blacked out while text appeared. Then, once the text went out, the player spawned. Does anyone know how to do this?

Yeah, try this and this.

And just use a black barrier with text and trigger delays to animate through it,

._.

with a barrier (in front of the player with no collision)

The fact that I cannot see the image…

Dang, that sucks

Oh well

yeah it does but we are slowly getting the images back

Have you actually used this?

a spawn where player spawns there and there’s a counter counting down and one counter will reach its target then trigger the text then another counter would count down then when target reached, it would then teleport you to map

I have

What do you mean by that? I’m aware that the images were deleted. I usually don’t follow guides but I’ve skimmed both and they look good excluding current circumstances.

Barrier with no collision, activates on game start using a lifecycle, text animated out with trigger delays, then at the end teleport the player or remove the barrier and text.

Do you have photos that you saved before the big delete?

@Halloween_Coster try going to URL of images and delete and letter and replace letter and see if they fix

What are you two talking about? Is there a guide linked here by Coster?

Can you be more specific? What part of the steps don’t make sense?

Not sure what you mean.

and life cycle>>>>>trigger delay: how long is would take the text to show up fully >>>>>>then deactivate text and barrier/black screen

A lot of it is just figuring out timing. What are you specifically unsure about?

I’m aware of what a cutscene is, and yeah, I’ve seen Star Wars. I know you’re looking for a cutscene. You seem a little confused. What part confuses you?

Let’s assume I have, sure.

Let me try to explain more about this.

Have you ever played Gim Wars 2 on GMCD (Sorry if this against the rules.)

The beginning is what I am looking for.
