Yes, how will you know that the projectile/pseudo-projectile is actually being fired at the prop?
how about I test it first
Lifecycle.
Track who triggers that lifecycle.
Track who hits the prop.
In the end you know who fired at the other person.

If you want your idea tested, you might have to test it yourself. Not that many people are active, it’s holiday break.
Even if someone is testing your idea, you should test it yourself as well.
