INTRO

Hello, community!
Now, many of you have gotten the Season Ticket, meaning you have gotten Platformer Mode.
But, since it’s still in beta, there is only one backdrop: the DLD sky.
And, sure, it’s great and all, but personally, I have gotten SO SICK of seeing it.
To make your background match your game theme, you can use the Barrier device, props, and many other things to just lift your map to the next level.

WIKI RULES (copied from Cool ways to use props 2.0)

Please don’t make any of the edits violate the TOS or FAQ, remember, anyone can see who edits a wiki and what part they edit.

Please be responsible.

Everyone, please don’t edit when it is being edited.

Check the box when you are editing, and uncheck when you finish.

Don’t make references using @ since you can only do that 10 times in a post.

FORMAT

insert an image of how it would look (if you don’t have season ticket, just design it on a barrier in top-down mode. Viewers can just use that barrier design and transfer it to their map.)

Barrier:

1.00 Transparency, collision off, behind layer.
Small vine:
x9 Alien plants
x2 Item image (Galaxy Fish)

Large budding vine:

EXTRAS: Duplicate the barrier except make it 0.30 transparency, and on above layer as in above EVERYTHING, to give a lighting change

Forest

14x Tree’s green ( tint to what you like)
13x bushes green (tint to what you like)
Some forest animals. I added a tiger, 2 parrots, and a blue bird.

You can design a backdrop in top-down.
Just put props and stuff on a barrier.

Nice! I haven’t really thought about making backgrounds…
I’ll try and add some.
Also, shouldn’t you add the platformer tag?

Added it but you can change it back if not :)

I can’t make a backdrop right now but I have some ideas. You could make a volcano backdrop with a red barrier and then volcano emojis. (Or you could make your own) and then add detail with props idk.

Also, only check the box if you are actually going to edit something.
I get too many notifications from people checking without editing.

Yes, it is, but you have to leave your name in the contributed if you are adding backgrounds to the wiki, and also check the box, unchecking it when done.
