Is it possible to play pitched notes? (not percussion)

i want to see if i can play notes (like music notes)
and i’ve been inspired by those videos of the motors spinning at certain frequencies
it is highly unlikely we can repeat something fast enough to make a pitched instrument
but theres a very slim chance that theres something i dont know about gkc that allows for really
really
really fast repeating

so far the only thing i have is a wire repeater loop
too slow

if its relevant im doing this in top down but i could switch to platformer

I just pulled this up.

The fastest something can be repeated is probably with triggers where its immediately sent to the next channel or repeater…[1]

Hope this helps!

that topic mainly seems to be on unpitched rhythms (percussion)
which could be useful in full covers but for melodies isnt very useful (although drum solos could be possible)
they do discuss the idea of really fast sounds
however they dont really build on it aside from the goal being 900 channels a sec for presumably a6
i’ll try the trigger thing

the trigger with channels work :tada:
i’ve tried it with a vending machine
for some reason the sound stops after 1 or so seconds
attempting to put a really small delay (0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 is the furthest i can get before gimkit crashes) on one of the triggers results in gkc possibly rounding up

I’m not sure if its possible to change sounds of vending machines.
However, you can try using sentries or checkpoints in your map, they make sound too!

Would any of these guides or topics help?

unfortunately no
piano is barrier art
custom music is non pitched
piano one only plays rhythms :pensive:

it seems as of right now the closest we have to custom music are simple beats using triggers and sound making devices
