Now, im not looking for game ideas, i have one in mind, which is tower defense, which im gonna need help with ideas, since I do want it to be like TDS [2]
Meaning i would need to figure out how to make
progress saving
certain towers able to be placed
match making
Possibly more

Placing towers could be done with text(you can have the text already in every possible block, the text is a tower, and the player goes over to whichever text they want and click ‘buy’, there will be buttons in each block as well).
By match making do you mean having players play against players? (this can be done if every player is in the same map, if not…you couldn’t without modding/hacking).
Oh, ok. You would just have a ‘voting’ room where the player(s) vote/choose what map they want to play in(then teleport to the designated spot), and have them choose the game mode(what game modes were you thinking?).
Map choosing is a lot easier than choosing game modes, but if you set up your systems such that all systems can be activated and deactivated(essentially, a fully-customizable map) by each other, then you should be able to do it easily.
since i’m level 127 in TDS (im not really playing tsb anymore) i might be able to help
what exactly do you want to save? towers? game progress?
What will be your towers? barrier? Sentry? Or something else?
if I were doing this, I would create a map and a road along which zombies pass, and create a sentry code that moves every 0.2 seconds (it’s a pity that they didn’t add a moving sentry )
conversations as in the game/tips at the beginning of the game from the commander (this is easy to do)
For progress saving just make checkpoints and test people playing where they stopped playing the most, make that the checkpoint, because progress saving is not possible.
For certain towers able to be placed just activate a trigger that has all the code and a tower prop.
For matchmaking just have sentries that will increase difficulty by just turning the easier one off and the harder one on over time, so just have a seconds counter for 1 minute and then turn off the easier sentry.
What else do you need? Maybe how to do any of these mechanics?
you could code a game overlay to show boss health and use channels to figure out if a tower has been placed in a set spot and when the boss (which would just be multiple sentry that would activate and deactivate along a set path which would be a wall so the sentry wont k?ll the player) entered a certain distance of the set location tower then it would do damage and if the boss reaches it final point you lose? it may not be a fully fledged TD game but it could work.
you don’t even know what tds and progress saving is.
don’t say something is impossible if you just don’t know how to do it, everything is possible if you really want it and try.
checkpoint saves the player after he is knocked out and respawns him at the place where the checkpoint was. saving the process can be done according to the guide above from @VALUEX
Ok, I understand your reasoning but come on dude, there is no way to do it, basically when people say nothing is impossible they mean inside the game not things outside.
