The ones represent the answer of this problem, the function checks if there is a prime number at 1 and outputs 1 if so or 0 if not. I honestly am not quite sure but I think thatā€™s about right.

Heā€™s asking for help because he needs this for cryptography and generating prime numbers.

Iā€™ve never really gotten prime #s, so could some one help please?

Basically in a nutshell their only factors are 1 and itself
@Shadow.exe
Like 11ā€™s only factors are 1 and 11 making it prime, not composite

I still donā€™t understand. you would think, that after 8 years of math, I would understand. but NOPE. not me. like 1 in itself? what does that mean? Iā€™m sorry my ADHD makes it difficult to understand stuff.

itā€™s like 1 * 3
itā€™s a prime number because thereā€™s no way to get 3 by multiplying unless you multiply by 1

OHHHHHHH okay, but how would that work for other numbers? iā€™m stupid. I just realized what you meant. resolved.

Havenā€™t watched the video, but what I said earlier is incorrect. Iā€™ll watch now.
