Simple chat mechanism : Overlay with the text “HI” then wire this to a “send to everyone” relay, then wire to notification, with the block code : create text with : Triggering player name (space) , then the word “says hi”

according to the wiki a password device is coming which could help simplify it
and make something like that

yeah ik but it’s probs not gonna be till after next summer 
a questioner is not the best option as peeps can just choose their own kit and get it right and idk how to turn that off

Just use a notification device. You will have to use blocks though. Through the blocks set the title to triggering player’s name and the main part to whatever you want the message to be.

My map, GimChat shows an example of a text chat and keyboard with the notification device. The enter key messages other people.
