Help with basically all things battle royale

I need help with a memory efficient storm, randomized chest systems, and pretty, much everything else. Like should it be platformer or top-down, how much should storm damage be, and more so yea pretty much everything

For randomized chest just make a randomizer, you sure you spent enough time searching the forums? I could find lots of topic with images.

First what do you need help with? What you’re saying is very general, and we need a place to start.

lets start with a memory efficient storm that deals enough damage that you cant camp in it but still low enough that you could survive for a bit

and yes i saw all the guides but they dont have all of what im looking for and experimenting isnt my strong suit

randomizers i have my own formula for but it would not work for a chest system

Use this guide, just change the settings of the damager.


Use that formula, just make it when the randomizer chooses something make it run on channel that triggers an item granter.


Platformer would allow players to dodge projectiles easier and the storm would also be easier to make. Top down allows you to add more details to your buildings and props.
I personally like top down because of the more variety of items and terrain.

Hmmm, maybe just use sentry’s because if you make them with special attacks it would take up lots of memory and time.


I would add the gadgets only from one way out because if you add multiple you would need multiple randomizers as triggers have a block limit..

so gadet wise there would be zappers slingshots P.M.Ls quantum portals and evil eyes that also solves loot pools

but sentry wise i would like cool bosses and is there a way to rename items

for example if i find a slingshot in a chest it would be called slingshot but if i won it from a boss it would be called superslingshot

No, you can’t rename items yet.
Before making the bosses you need POI ideas.


Deep Deep lagoon.
A lake with an island in the middle, a boss could be a lagoon monster.

Maybe you could just have the slingshot you get from a boss be a different rarity.

POI would be different as i plan to make an update system like fortnite with different updates having different places and bosses

I don’t think there’s a way to do that just yet. You could put in the activity feed “[player name] defeated [boss name] and got a Superslingshot”, if you want to.
