I was gonna do something like this when I got back from camping, but it looks like someone beat me to it lol I might still do it though.

-don’t care enough to get on eighteen apps to make a thumbnail

the art topic makes a way for people to directly get everything they need in one place.

anyways, if you don’t like the art topic, then you can literally edit categories and take out art. so it doesnt bother you personally.

Oh well yeah of course I understand, since discord’s completely out of the option let’s just go to the forums and fill it with art requests taking away from its original purpose, and since the moderators are letting us continue, that must mean (breathes) that they wholeheartedly and completely support us in our cause and wish for us to continue in order to ensure the wellbeing of the forums.
But in all seriousness, I do believe that this forum is called the GKC forum not the GKC forums for art requests and collaboration, and with the track we’re headed I might as well abandon my dying cause and begin campaigning to rename the forums to something along the lines of what I mentioned earlier.
Nobody can stop the art requests and posts except for the posters themselves, and given this information everyone should be able to come to the same logical conclusion so I will say no more on that.
I suppose the people I share common cause with just sustain our culture and practices and keep exploring gimkit creative rather than the 18 or so other apps the post above mentioned.
Incidentally, I don’t know what to make of the fact that having skill in those 18 or so apps grants more relevance, popularity, and usefulness to a person than having skill in gimkit creative, which this forum is built upon (really crazy, I didn’t know myself until I looked at the About section a minute ago) and continues to be based on.
If you’ve read all of that I’m very surprised since nobody ever reads my stuff, but at least I hope you realize that we should stop acting on what is best for ourselves and act on what is best for our community and forums as a whole, whatever that may prove to be.

Because of the inactive mods, We need to elect a regular to be a junior moderator on the forums.

There are a lot more regulars on the forums then the one you listed. Now, let’s review the options:

  • Voidfluffy: Okay
  • Kosmo-0: Okay
  • Kyro: Barely goes on at all? No?
  • Gim_guy: Okay
  • FersionSpeedy: Okay

So basically, all of the options are fine except kyro who I know probably won’t want to be a community moderator for the forums anyways.

I think you should’ve put Blackhole on the poll because he’s the one who’s been advocating for community moderation all this time. I also noticed that while I was writing my reply, you added my name. Now, I know this is because you thought I was going to be annoyed or angry that I wasn’t here - nope. These polls have been conducted so many times in the past and there’s almost no way that another one of these polls will do anything. Making one of these is not very useful, unfortunately, so I would consider using another civilized method to even attempt to get moderation.

If this poll is going to be used, I suggest actually talking to the regulars and seeing if they agree and want to become junior moderator, because like @Kosm0-o said, it’s not fair to be picked for something they didn’t ask for.

I would suggest the people in this poll if you truly wanted to make a poll.
Even though the poll would probably have no effect.

I think that’s person should be the moderator unless they object.

They won’t do that. There have been many requests for TL4s in the past and most have been considered but there isn’t a mod. A lesser-known user posting a poll that isn’t representative of the forum population is most likely not going to convince any moderators anything, and it is certainly not going to attract their attention.

i’m not even a regular. also a poll will probably do like nothing at all. and, remembering eiqy’s earlier point from the moderation riot, the mods do deserve a break for summer and all that eiqy said.
