The Ultimate Guide To Making A Medieval Map! {First Ever Guide!)

,

Introduction

Hello, this is my first EVER guide. I have been looking through a lot of guides and thought, I should make one of my own! Now I Was looking at some people’s first topics and it seems that a lot of people start with the topic ‘Help’ and I wondered, why not start big!So that is what I am going to do. Welcome and have fun reading my guide on Medieval Maps.

Important Aspects

When making any type of RPG maps you need to have your aspects that go with your game, with medieval maps it is no different! Each type of style will have different aspects, think of a retro style map for example, it has things like arcades! When it comes to medieval maps, it has many aspects such as:

  • A Castle
  • A Blacksmith
  • Stables
  • Knight training Grounds
  • Medieval Houses
  • Vendors
  • Much More!

There are some guides on how to make some of these buildings such as:

Overall Style

When you are making a medieval map you cant just add anything, you have to make it look medieval. The reason I am saying this is the medieval ages existed around the 1400’, which means there was not much technology. If you use random things like space beds it wont look right. If you need here is a list of medieval items

Roles

If you are making a medieval Roleplay Map for rpg you will want roles. When you are making roles you will want to base them off of medieval roles. Roles such as farmer, maid, stable-cleaner can be low rank jobs. And other roles like king and queen can be high rank roles!

Conclusion
While there are so many things you can do in a medieval map these are very helpful things that might help you out! Have a great day! Happy gimmings!

Thank you!

That’s one great first guide! You conquered:

  • Images
  • Effort
  • Organization
    And more!
I like the idea, and this could be used in many role play maps.
    Great Guide again!
9/10 (-1 point for ideas aspect sorry)

A great first guide! I like it!

Advice
  • Just some minor grammar mistakes to be fixed
  • Add instructions on how to build some of the stuff
  • Remove the tug tag, it is only used for wikis
My First Post

It was a guide that I accidently posted.
It said:
yabadadoooooooooo, I was fooling around trying to figure stuff out and accidently hit ctrl + Enter
