The Ultimade Guide To Lifesteal (With A Well Of Hearts!) 3.5/10 đźź©

I’ve been working on this for about an hour, and I’m ready to unveil my new creation: A Gimkit Lifesteal SMP! In the following instructions, I will show you how to make a simple Lifesteal system, and how to make a Well of Hearts that you can use a heart of your own to get a mystery prize!
WARNING: SOME LONG CODING IS REQUIRED FOR THE WELL OF HEARTS

Materials
  • 7 Item Granters

  • 6 Popups

  • 3 Checkers

  • 2 Life Cycles

  • 1 Game Overlay

  • 1 Starting Inventory

  • 1 Trigger

  • 1 Button

  • 1 Team Switcher

  • Optional: One Water Well Prop

  • For Testing: 1 Sentry

  • For Testing: 1 Item Spawner

The Speedy Life Steal System

Step 1. Grab the Starting Inventory and copy these settings.

Step 2. Grab the First Lifecycle and copy these settings.

Step 3. Grab the First Checker and copy these settings.

Step 4. Grab the First Item Granter and copy these settings.

Step 5. Grab the Second Life Cycle and copy these settings.

Step 6. Snag the Second Checker and copy these settings.

7. Grab the Second Item Granter and copy these settings.

Last Step. Lastly snag that Team Switcher and copy these final settings!

Explanation

So basically what this is doing is this. The First Life Cycle is sending a signal to the First Checker every time the player gets K.O’d. The checker checks if the player has any lives remaining. If they do, they lose one “heart.” If they don’t, they are switched to spectator. However, if they knock out a player/sentry, the Second Life Cycle will send a signal to the Second Checker. If they have less than 20 hearts, they will gain a heart! As simple as that!

The Speedy Well Of Hearts System

Step 1. Slap that Subscribe Button! (lol just a regular button) and copy these settings.
MAKE SURE THE BUTTON IS INVISIBLE.

Step 2. Snag the Third Checker and copy these exact settings!

Wire the Button to the Checker. When Button Pressed – Run Check.
Step 3. Grab that Trigger Fish and copy this long code! You can use whatever channels, as long as they’re all different, unless you want one item to be more likely to appear.

MAKE SURE THE TRIGGER IS INVISIBLE AND WONT TRIGGER ON PLAYER COLLISION.
Wire the Trigger to the Third Checker. When Check Passes – Trigger.
Step 4. Grab the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Item Granters. Let them grant whatever items you wish, at whatever quantity. Then have each Item Granter answer to a channel from the Trigger code.
Last Step. Lastly, grab the First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth popups. Have each popup answer to one of the channels in the Trigger code, and input a message according to the item you’ll get from the well of hearts. Then, have one pop-up answer to the Check Fail channel. Then have the pop-up say, "Insufficient Funds. You Need At Least 15 Hearts to Participate in the Well of Hearts!

Explanation

Basically, the button is sending a signal to the checker, making sure you have at least 15 Hearts. Then, if the check succeeds, it sends the signal to the trigger, creating a random system of what you’ll get. Then, depending on what the channel sends out, it’ll give you the item you won, and send out an according pop-up.

I worked really hard on this guide, so I hope you enjoy playing our Map as much as I enjoyed making this guide! I hope you have enjoyed this guide on Lifesteal, and happy Gimkiting!

Also, can somebody create a Life Steal tag?

Nice guide!

Also I don’t really think a life steal tag would be necessary- honestly the first time I even heard of life steal (besides like if you damage someone you get hp back)

Also, I don’t really agree with a 6/10 difficulty, so I’ll make a poll.

But nice guide in general! It has pictures, so that’s a plus.

I just put in the 6/10 because there requires some complex coding, and coding isn’t a lot of people’s cup of tea.

Well

Pictures make it really easy cause look at this guide (free advertising?!)

Like most people did 11/10 ._. but that was a joke so I’m going to the next best thing

4/10-3/10 so I don’t really agree with your view point of 6/10, but if you like it, it can stay I guess.

This is a decently easy guide- not too difficult, just very repetitive

same as my guide lol

Next time, don’t please, the difficulty is decided by whoever reads the guide:)

No, whatever comes out of this poll, I’m going to edit my post, but thanks for the tip!

I know, I was just trying to give people a reference to it. Like I don’t want a beginner going into something that would be like a 10/10 like the Monopoly guide because he didn’t know it was gonna be hard

Do you know where that one guide is?

Maybe it’s just me, but it’s like a chart to show all the difficulties of all the color squares and like 1/10 difficulty guides and stuff, let me try to find it and rate it based off of that

NVM founnddddd itttt

Here’s these 2 guides to answer your question.

(Realized public isn’t really the best since it can sway votes, so I’m gonna go private.)

By the way how do you make it to where you can use the pickaxe to break blocks and place them again? One of the things I use in the Well Of Hearts and I want to make the map into an SMP type thing

Dynamic blocks (in terrain)

gonna go now cya

@LandynSPEEDO802 You’d also have to make sure that you are using Platformer mode… Anyways, nice guide, probably should add the tug tag
