Hey everybody! Blackhole here.
Me, @Unstable , @ElectroLXR , and @the_floor_is_floor have been busy planning something over the last few months, and we’re super excited to tell you all about it today!
What we’ve planned is something called the Gimkit Awards- a set of awards to recognize the incredible talent of you all, the Gimkit community! We’ve created a bunch of categories to showcase talents across all different fields of the game!
Categories include things such as “Most creative battle royale”, and “Best adventure game”. On top of the recognition you’ll get for winning a category, you’ll also get prizes!
First place will receive 5,000 gimbucks!
Second place will receive 3,000 gimbucks!
Third place will receive 1,000 gimbucks!
You can win an award by being voted by the community as best in a category. The voting will be split into a nomination phase and a main voting phase, both of which will take place in May! More info will be provided on that when the time comes around 
To clarify, this isn’t a game jam or anything like that. You can win awards for things you’ve done all the way going back to the past year.
