Star Wars battlefront 2 style game

So I have a lot for now but I need to know if it’s should be platformer or too down ans other ideas yall can think of. So far I have this: ( yes I used ChatGPT to organize my messy Google Docs but the ideas are original and didn’t copy) (some planets are from Star Wars canon)

  • Valos

    • Look: Big city on water with docks and bridges. Lots of Mon Calamari and Quarren people. Cloudy sky with some rain.
    • Main Goal: Save an Imperial officer from pirates in the streets. Learn about the next two planets, Luthar and Kaelos. Find out the officer has a friend who will help later.
  • Luthar

    • Look: Hot desert with sand and sandstorms. Big mining pits. Cargo planes fly overhead. Small Imperial buildings.
    • Main Goal: Stop mining of materials for dangerous gadgets. Deal with stormtroopers and big walkers like AT-ATs, AT-ACTs, and AT-STs using stealth or tricks. Collect information for Kaelos mission.
  • Kaelos

    • Look: Misty swamp with rivers and fog. Pools look poisonous. Labs and tanks are all around.
    • Main Goal: Sneak into the lab and des7ro9 dangerous gadgets. Avoid swamp hazards. Confirm prisoners from Harica Prime are still safe.
  • Harica Prime

    • Look: Tall jagged mountains with cliffs hanging in the air. Hexagonal towers sit on cliffs. Stormy clouds above.
    • Main Goal: Rescue a Rebel officer and the friend of the first defector. Move carefully on cliff paths. Avoid guards and traps. Learn about Corellia and the next missions.
  • Tatooine

    • Look: Dry desert with rocks, sand dunes, and cliffs. Jawas with their sandcrawlers are around.
    • Main Goal: After leaving Harica Prime, the ship is damaged during travel and crashes on Tatooine. Fix the ship using parts from Jawas. Survive desert hazards. Get ready for Corellia.
  • Corellia

    • Look: Huge factories and shipyards. Cranes swing above. Smoke rises from metal towers. A giant Super Star Destroyer frame hangs in the sky, still being built.
    • Main Goal: Sneak into the shipyard and deas7ro9 a very important part of the Super Star Destroyer, like its power core system or command bridge frame. Escape before the Empire locks it down. This slows the Empire’s plans a lot.
  • Yavin

    • Look: Jungle moon with hidden Rebel base. Big buildings in the trees. Docks for ships.
    • Main Goal: Meet Rebel leaders like Leia and Admiral Ackbar. Watch Cassian’s Scarif mission. Prepare to help in the final battle in the surviving U-Wing.
  • Scarif

    • Look: Tropical island with beaches, jungle inside, and tall Imperial towers. Turrets and walkers patrol the beaches. Bridges and water channels are all over.
    • Main Goal: Arrive mid-battle to support Cassian and the Rogue One team. Give cover fire, disable turrets, protect Rebel operatives. Survive the challenge. In the end, everyone passes away

I think Platformer would work better for most of the Ideas.

I honestly think this will take up too much memory and the map wont be big enough…

BUMP um… yeah so basically platform will be best for most of the ideas, just like how @Gaming-Phoenix said.

You don’t bump within 10 minutes…

Probably, what mechanics will your map consist of?

Don’t bump topics besides Community Made Guides and Devices. Unless it’s your own.

I’ll be putting them diff maps

So one thing I also need ideas on how to start the trilogy and like stuff like dialogue and there will be plenty of cutscenes so a lot of different maps and will be released in parts and a idea u have is when you finish the levels on part one you get a code and you have to type that in in order to play the next part. Should I start them off in a ship and like make a hologram using the new shape device?

Wait but why would platformer be better than top down thou bc there are a lot of running side to side and up and down bc u need to avoid stormtroopers also is there a way to make them move?

Yes, though I wouldn’t recommend it due to the fact it uses lots of memory.

So I should do one planet per map for enough memory bc I will make it as high quality as you can on gimkit

I also still don’t know what maps to use platformer and which to use top down bc I still don’t really know why platformer would work

And also should I make turrets that automatically removes deletes enemies but how would I do that thou could I use sentry

Do you guys thing many cutscenes are bad? Or like a decent amount but not too many

a decent amount is best – like somewhere between 3-7… not enough to take away from the game tho

also, it depends on what type of game you’re making. in a story-type game it’s fine to have a lot of them

A while back I was DESPERATELY looking for a star wars game , i couldn’t find any tho on gimkit but this is would be amazing if you finished it, ok from the bits of lore and missions here, im guessing this is during the Galactic Civil War, which means you could tie in major events like the Battle Of Yavin, Hoth, and even Scarif. You could also have missions with brief cameos or background nods to smaller but well known characters like Ezra Bridger from Rebels, the Bad Batch(tho no one knows what they would be doing during this time and the fact that they’re pretty old by this time complicates things), and maybe you could even have missions where you have to smuggle cargo or go on some mission with Han and Chewie or a side quest in which you might meet Cal or take on a bounty mission and run into Boba Fett or Mando.
