ay that’s what I have been doing pretty much my whole life!
Anyways, can you elaborate more? I really don’t understand.
Uhm
when you mean what the title says
you mean we use… Blocks, properties, etc?
Yup, you’re right!
I actually did some of this a while back before I was on the forums. Back when GKC was new.
What you could do is have a counter with a property. Then, it’s subtracted every time the player’s attacked. Because each attack does the same amount of damage each time, you could have each one be a specific property and subtract the health property to the attack. Pretty simple. Critical hits and such could be easily done with randomizers.
For the health bar, you could do something with emojis, specifically and . You would need a and directly on top of each other in a straight line going sideways. 10 of them.
Let’s say a full health bar is 100 health, or . Each square signifies 10 hp.
Oh no! The player got punched! That punch did 10 damage. The squares (with a property checker) would change like so: . See how it changed out one with a ? Each is equal to 10 damage done.
Flying kick incoming! Let’s take a look at the health bar now. Using the same property checker method: . Wow, that’s a lot of damage. You can see how it goes now. 40 damage, 60 hp left.
If players have abilities as well (specifically healing abilities), then they could grant back.
Roundhouse kick! The health goes down: . This would symbolize that the player’s knocked out. You could be fancy and make it flash, too (deactivations and reactivations), if you wanted to. Then, the property checker would broadcast on a channel to end the game.
We are trying to make it so that both players can see it and linking it to the normal gkc healthbar.
Anyway, good suggestion!
Halfway done with the guide.
How’s everything so far?
No repiles, i guess.
How is the guide going?
ONE OF THE TRAITS IN @Undertale IS PATIENCE, MY GUY… PATIENCE…
(Sorry for caps)
Determination, Bravery, Justice, Kindness, Patience, Integrity, Perseverance, for all 7
Ok, i will just put @here so people see this.
just wanted to say
can this technically increase max health?
cause if someone passes their pseudo health limit damage them back to normal so physical and pseudo are normal, if you want to increase remove that property from true to false so there’s no limit and it can be increased so like from 100 to 200
since we can link physical and pseudical health together under certain circumstances
Good question
I have a question for you, ARE WIRE REPEATERS AND REPEATERS THE SAME THING?
sorry for such bad quality and visibility the drafts glitched so I can fortunately get it back again
like I discarded it on accident but then the drafts were offline and wouldn’t work so I snapped a screenshot so I wouldn’t have to type it again
except the vocab wasn’t finished correctly but it’s ok
WHAT TIME OF QUESTION IS THAT.
If they were the same thing, then why would they both be here?
Repeaters are for repeating (but you shouldn’t use them) and wire repeaters are to repeat wires. There’s a wire limit on devices/props, so that’s when they come into play. They can also be used as repeaters as well.
if no one feels like researching, don’t pressure it.
Yeah. Using my method, you could make a be, say, 100 hp. 10 of them would be 1,000 hp. Just don’t make it actually do damage to players until the very end.
Well, there’s an answer anyway. I help people when there’s help needed.
Also I just saw that, and yeah, I think so too. Just multiply the amount of physical health by (10 would be my choice, because it would look best) a number and make that number a .
