If the number of players per game is below 30, what is the recommended memory usage percentage to keep the game running smoothly?
Currently, my map is using 62% memory. Will this cause lag during gameplay?

I would say about 65% - 70% is the maximum lag that you want, as 100%…
Let’s just say that you crash out… literally.
Thanks for the info! Sorry for asking so many questions, but I just want to make sure—In your experience, do you think I should try to lower the memory usage even more?
When you can less memory is always better.
Yes, but only if you can.
If you have a repeater, or unnecessary block code, or too many lasers, or even too many sentries, you can cut down on that.
Like @The_Gimster said less memory usage is always better.
Heres some ways to cutdown on memory usage
It’s not dependent on the memory alone. It’s dependent on the amount of things that are rendering and are running. It’s different if you place 25k triggers on one tile than if you spread them out all across your map. Another example is placing 250 floor tiles vs placing a block that’s attached to a repeating trigger. They’re both the same memory, but the computer processes them differently and the blocks can lag the game more. Basically don’t put too much strain on the game by adding 20 mechanics in all levels and instead use only a few for each level (that’s just an example, of course).
I have to agree with getrithekd. My map has 99% memory (can’t even use more block code) and it NEVER lags.
Of course, if you can save memory that’s great, and you should. But if not, don’t fret!
It depends, but why don’t you try it out yourself! It likely won’t, depending on what’s taking up that memory, but just make sure to focus on other, more important things, such as gameplay and storyline, things that make your game fun and interesting!
Maybe it’s just my 10 fps tablet
The problem is, it’s REALLY hard to execute well.
Look at games like gimjumper.
