Woah, awesome update! Just when I think it can’t get any better, it does! It’d be interesting to see the cool creations people make out of this!
Not that I expect this or anything, but just saying, I think it would be cool if you could auto-draw perfect circular lines- it would make drawings even cleaner!
Also gonna remind everybody to stay on topic- we love the update but that’s no reason to get too out of control.

To be fair, I was okay with this update. I liked the fact it’s not Season Ticket, but other than that, I guess it’s not that bad.
The only problem with this feature is griefers. They can join a random map from a website (say, the Wixsite), and if all permissions are open to the public, they can spam NSFW-drawings on the spot. I don’t think there’s a real human, nor bot, moderating the drawings to see if they qualify as a “safe drawing”, or not.
Maybe you should implement a system, where specific users get permissions? It would be great.
Other than that, it’s not a bad update. Alas, there’s artists happy about this update, which is pretty nice.

Yeah, knowing some of these kids, it wouldn’t be above them. They might implement some AI junk to help that not happen, but AI is braindead and some would probably sneak through the cracks.
Quick opinion (scary): I don’t think that would work. As good of an idea, I don’t think Joshabunga is gonna go through hundreds of accounts and give some the green light.
I don’t think there’s a good work around against griefers. Ok opinion over :3

Well, no, that’s not what I was talking about. Would be too tiring.
I had an idea of the owner having, basically, a new revamp of the Player UI. It lets them remove them from the game (obviously, if they have to), or give specific permissions.
I wasn’t talking about Josh going through hundreds of accounts like that lmao
I possibly think through the AI moderation, as no Gimkit Developer’s wasting their time, trying to see if these drawings qualify as “SFW”.

Ok guys, we get it. People can make drawings, and with Gimkit’s vast teenage majority, people might be inclined to make those drawings inappropriate. But stop talking about it.
Look, it’s not like we’ve never had these problems before. There have been other art forms in GKC that got the point across just as much as this- barrier art, text art, and heck — my friends and I were on GKC the the first or second day, after just completing the tutorial, and they were making inappropriate pictures out of terrain.
So you know what? We’ve had these problems, and just because somebody can make it a little more realistic doesn’t make it any more of an issue that it already has been. In fact, by y’all blabbering about this (probably on other gkc sites too), it’s just giving people that idea, and it’s better to leave it as it was.
Going back to the story I referenced earlier, you wanna know what I was doing? I left to go to the top corner of the map, and started making a questionier button with no help or tutorial. I tried and failed to fix the problems with the inappropriate pictures. But that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy GKC for what it is:
A place to explore, a place to create, and a place to call home.

It’s already difficult to create anything that looks substantial with the drawing tools anyway, and besides who cares?
