I am trying to think of new ideas for maps to make and I really want this one to be a highly played map and I was wondering if anybody could give me any ideas of games to make. I am not really good at writing long posts but I think this will do. Thanks guys!

I’m thinking like a mingame map, like tag or even take inspiration from games like Mario Party, I’ve seen those trending recently. Story platformers are also trending too, that’s what I’m doing for my first map (Like, oh I don’t know, maybe about appearing on an island with amnesia and trying to get out by being guided by journal entries. I’m definitely not doing that, (; ) . Or party games like things based off of Mario Kart, Kirby Air Rider, or SSBU. =D

Let me check discovery for a second… (checks discovery). Apparently, there’s a Mission Impossible platformer, Super Smash Bros, some random DLD remake, and a story game about saving an axolotl. But most are trashy in my opinion, so let’s think of something different. Difficulty charts are popular, or you could do something like an actually good remake of DLD. Or make a PvP game like Super Smash Bros with characters and original maps.

@willo If your game is platformer, i’d recommend popular choices like difficulty charts, remakes of DLD, or even Story Platformers like CommanderGOAT said. But add something that makes it different from the others!
If your game is top-down, you can make story games, fishing, hide and seek, tag, blastball, glass bridge, and more!

ohhhhhhh, How about making a mini city, and there the NPCs give you tasks, but that won’t be easy, there are many enemies and puzzles that make your tasks difficult.
(Oh, and I agree with Aurorax about staying on topic.)

haven’t created it yet
I was thinking a cookie clicker game. although I know how to use devices I don’t think I can do something that advanced. If any of you want to give me tips that would be awesome!

If you have found a solution(I think you got plenty of ideas of both platformer and top-down , I can’t think of any more) mark it as a solution!
