The Burgle Cats is a game of strategy and wits. Tons of traps, Doges and treasures! Its all super cool, soo… Im thinking. Is it possible to make it… In Gimkit?
The gameplay is hard to explain.
Its where you enter a mansion and steal treasure from the correct vault, all while avoiding traps and doges…
When you enter, the door you entered by is locked.
You create “Noise” by moving floors up or down or encountering certain traps. Guard Doges rush to any source of noise, but it’s not hard to elude them. They do sleep a lot. At least most the time…
There are 3 vaults, only one has the treasure.
When you get the treasure, 3 random doors lock themselves and guards from fake vaults open to get you!
Nab the treasure and escape to win!
Ok… Now I’ve explained the simple mechanisms… Would it be possible to recreate such a thrill in Gimkit?
I don’t have the season ticket, so no platformer ideas. Top down only!
(probably makes it harder)
The memory usage would be too high for you to create this, or you would quit on it cuz mechanics are too hard
Might require a specialist to solve this
Shdwy, wingwave, Blackhole927 could prob solve it
bruh
he’s asking for help
a question and a concept are totally different things
a concept is a abstract idea
a question means he wants to know exactly how to make it
I get you’re still learning but don’t assume things and do it without permission from the op (original poster)
but anyways to do the creaking sound mechanic you can just slap a movement meter and a tag zone when the player moves it continuously sets a property to true and a tag zone so that when player is tagged by another player and the property is true it respawns them by sending on a channel (so turn respawn on tag off and go to tag zone blocks)
Exactly why I said too much memory.
If blocks were seperate from devices, you only get 200 block menus.
I do not think those are enough to control the barriers you would use for ‘NPCs’
The alternative, as I suggested, is barriers, and still we have to deal with blocks. 200 ain’t enough…
And for singular blocks, 200 x 75 = 15000
Well, now I thinks it’s possible rn
