I am planning on making a map that is similar to geometry dash(if you know what that is) and i dont know how to make the player movement(move to the right constantly after selecting a level) the way you select the levels is through buttons. I will also need help with creating the different gamemodes(ship, wave, swing, ball) all of this will be in platformer

You can just activate a bunch of barriers every second behind the gim, forcing them to run constantly otherwise they get stuck. Probably not memory efficient though…

Those guides are both empty. I do not recommend using either of these guides for that purpose, due to being outdated or not having the right objectives.

That is more complete and might work for them. Note: They have to make the level themselves, but the guide provides enough foundation for a level to be built.
