How to Make water in platformer

Materials

sand terrain
zone
2 speed modifiers
Barrier
optional coral for decoration

instructions

make a pit with the sand terrain and add a light blue barrier with 0.60 transparency (no border and no collision) as shown:

add a zone in the barrier. next to it, add 2 speed modifiers. make one speed modifier 1 and the other 0.6 .
wire the zone to the 1 speed modifiers:
player leaves zone–>set modified speed (or whatever it says)
now wire the zone to the 0.6 speed modifier:
player enters zone–>set modified speed (or whatever it says)
Now you’re done!
(you can also add coral for decoration, if you want)

This looks way better than what a normal water terrain would look like, because of the terrain’s serrated edges. would look like a hole in the sky lol

This is a good guide. Though gravity can’t be changed, so you will still be falling at terminal velocity once you hit the water. And jump height wont be changed.

maybe I’ll make an updated version of this guide once we are able to change gravity and jump height.

we need this
