How smooth do you want the movement to be?

Froyo essay time :penguin: (this is really not complicated at all, I just want to explain it more)

Since you did not state the specific device you want to use for the text to move, I will just use a Button as an example.

If your objective is simply transforming a text from one place to another instantly, try placing down two Texts close to each other, one set on [visible when game start], and the other set on [not visible when game start]. Wire them up with Button to hide one and show the other.

Wires:
Button (button pressed) → Text 1 (hide text)
Button (button pressed) → Text 2 (show text)

However, if you wish to make the Text to shift smoothly toward a direction, then you will make something different. Place down multiple Texts next to each other, they may intercept depending on how smooth you want the transformation to happen, it’s basically making an animation.

Place down multiple triggers, set their interval low, such as [0.25 seconds], each one with different channels, for demonstration purposes, I assume I placed down five Texts, each one will also need their corresponding Triggers, Trigger 1 through 5.

The Button will transmit on [Channel 0] when pressed.

Channels:
Trigger 1: [Transmit on Channel 1 when triggered] and [trigger when receive on Channel 0]
Trigger 2: [Transmit on Channel 2 when triggered] and [trigger when receive on Channel 1]
Trigger 3: [Transmit on Channel 3 when triggered] and [trigger when receive on Channel 2]
Trigger 4: [Transmit on Channel 4 when triggered] and [trigger when receive on Channel 3]
Trigger 5: [trigger when receive on Channel 4]

Lastly, each Text needs to hide and appear according to the Triggers, Text 1 should be the only one shown when game starts, the other four will stay hidden.

Text 1: [Hide when receive on Channel 1]
Text 2: [Show when receive on Channel 1], and [Hide when receive on Channel 2]
Text 3: [Show when receive on Channel 2], and [Hide when receive on Channel 3]
Text 4: [Show when receive on Channel 3], and [Hide when receive on Channel 4]
Text 5: [Show when receive on Channel 5]

And you are done! This is just a simple example, you can adjust the values to what you preferred, if you have any further issues or concerns, feel free to reply :3

Easy explanation to those who don’t wanna read a whole bunch of texts:

Use multiple trigger loops set on short interval, each one triggers the next trigger, and each trigger correspond to the respective text, texts will change alongside with the triggers. Gimkit animations are recommended to have quick succession of change for clarity, you can do the same thing with prop, barrier, custom shape, and other stuffs for advanced map decoration.

Lowkey I love yapping on the forums instead of doing my AP Psych and AP Calc homework :speaking_head: :fire:

For @GregDav123:

to do that, you will need to place the text down, and put a trigger.

then you delay the trigger for .5 seconds.

make both the text, and the trigger invisible.

wire the trigger to the text: triggered-show text.

add another trigger, and wire the previous trigger to the new one: triggered-trigger.

use the new trigger, and the text: triggerd-hide text.

repeat from step one, until finished.
