If you type characters in <> they turn invisible, but you can only use letters.

Yep! You can also see what’s in the <>s by quoting the post! In the reply section, press the speech bubble.
That brings up another question, how do I quote someone?
Highlight the text of someone/hover over it with the mouse like you are about to copy and paste it and a quote button will show up
