I was recently making my secret project when I came across the huge pain of randomizing words. So, I made a guide so you don’t have to encounter (as much) pain!
DISCLAIMER: This will only randomize five-letter words. Also, not all five-letter words in the alphabet (that are valid in wordle) are included as it would make the list WAYYY too long. So, instead, this randomizer randomizes between words that wordle uses as the daily word. This also means that some words may have an inappropriate double-meaning, so uhh… proceed with caution?
Setup
The setup for this is actually very simple:
As long as you copy all devices and make sure the properties are named correctly, everything else is just default settings.
Blocks
This is the core of the randomizer. Let's start with the simpler trigger: the one next to the spawner. This trigger is the randomizer and sets CurrentWord to a random five-letter word.
Copy the following blocks:
The activity feed is not strictly necessary, I just used it for debugging to make sure that the randomizer works.
For the other trigger (which is connected to the lifecycle), use… uhhh:
It’s not as complicated as it seems! Just follow these steps to avoid (most of) the pain.
Steps
Add a “Set Property” block with the property “Text”. Attach a “Create Text With” block to the Value. In the settings of the “Create Text With” block, add items until you have 28 items:

As for why this is necessary, properties can’t fit this much text as default text so you have to set their text to this.
And now you’re done! You can also change the method of randomizing by connecting something else to the randomizer.
