Yeah, old forums were mostly just simple mechanics you can implement into your game, but now it’s mostly more complex systems, but I guess that really is just how communities work, it could be a difficult thing to get used to while still beneficial. In a way, draining. You start off with a simple topic, and it expands, kind of like linear progression or the education system, except the education system is more draining. But hey, it’s fun to see the complex systems other people create! Breaking limitations, that’s pretty cool.

Actually, difficulty has been around since before the discourse forums. Cryptoraider invented it on the old circle io forums. It just hadn’t been standardized yet.
