If you haven’t heard of the “deleter glitch”, it’s normal. I invented that phrase. But anyway, I went into bugs, and there is quite several post on objects in their map being deleted. One of them is about half there map being deleted, and only terrain survives. Is there a way to prevent this? Also, as you may see in my profile, I going on holiday soon, and I won’t be able to use GKC in nearly four weeks, so please don’t say checking on my map every other day.
If you have any idea, tested or untested, you are welcome to comment. If you have no idea, however, please don’t comment.
Here is a poll. Has something like this happened to you? The “standard deleter glitch” means large area of your map being deleted.
Yes, it happened to me before, once.
No, it hadn’t happened to me before.
Something similar, not exactly the standard “deleter glitch”.
soo i will give your solution..
as coderdash stated we cant, because it is just a problem that happens and we cant solve it. but what we can do is before leaving, we can save it manually, this way the bug wont appear.. even tho gimkit saves progress each 5 min i think. but sometimes this bug happens.. as i said the only way is to save it manually. i dont think there is an another way, only if gimkit fixes this bug..
Maybe I somehow misread this topic or something like that, but as far as I understand, you just as if you asked a question and ask people to answer it, but at the same time it’s a research tag? I don’t quite understand what you want to do, so maybe someone like @Here_to_help or @Kat_aronii will help here
I just don’t understand the meaning of this topic and what exactly do you want to get, the answer to the question? If so, I can easily tell you that “deleted glitch” is a bug of the gimkit itself and I have only 1 option how to avoid it, just don’t put a lot of mechanisms/barriers in 1 place as it loads the map ( Yoyos map was also deleted where it had 3d barriers that required a lot of texts and barriers, which caused a large load and half of the map was deleted)
My tips (with these I’ve been able to avoid the deleter glitch, even on my 99+% memory map):
Manually save every time. In fact, go ahead and mash that button a few times to make sure.
Don’t close your tab to quickly. Just sit around a few seconds after saving to really make sure it had time to save, this way it won’t “forget” things.
Don’t go overboard with props right next to each other. If there’s one spot that’s really full, manually save with that on screen. I don’t know why it works, but it just does.
Hope this helps.
