You can’t. Typing in game is not possible without a selection of text to choose from. so as of right now you can’t.

Those both have popups, @LEPRECON2024 doesn’t want popups.

Well to start you can’t really type in game. I’m also not sure if you consider notifications as popups… If you want to have some sort of chat system still, I’d recommend using text objects and the ability to select text with buttons or something.
