Hidden Sentry Trap

How to make a hidden sentry trap in Gimkit Creative

  1. Add a circle of Sentrys and add a zone in the middle
  2. Add a wire repeater and connect all sentrys to the wire repeater and zone and set them to “Activate Sentry”

What’s wrong with posting trap guides?

Maybe sometime soon. I just want to be a little creative. Sometimes jumpscares in Gimkit are unusual because Gimkit looks extremely friendly.

They’re too easy to make, and there’s just too many of them.

Just because something’s simple doesn’t mean it’s necessarily bad. Having a lot of simple things means that eventually different aspects or design choices might be combined to make something more complex. Even if people may not follow the guide exactly, they may get inspiration from it. : )

If something’s simple, then the person going through guides can figure out a trap for themselves.

Ok, but what if people don’t even know what they want to make? Simple ideas can spark inspiration.

Then they can post in help.

You should put the trap tag on this. And welcome to the forums @thatOneCringe !

I don’t really see what the point you’re trying to make here is. The guide isn’t harmful and even if it may seem repetitive that people make a lot of guides on traps, it’s not really doing anything other than creating more resources for creativity. Plus, not every guide that people make has to be used, or needs to be original, sometimes people just make guides because they enjoy sharing their own creativity! : D
