I don’t think you are automatically able to delete unused tags, but it is possible to bulk delete them manually. Maybe I’ll contact Jeffo once this conversation is over.

Alright sure. Do you think it should be able to apply both to the forums and GKC?

Beginner must read is things that users need to read when they j0in the forums, so I think it is just basic forum info, rules, and guidelines (like difficulty ratings)
If you agree, we can cut out everything about GKC
edit: I assume like = yes

You’re probably confused on what Gimkit Creative is. You might be new to Gimkit, or you never used gimkit for a while.
This guide shows what’s Gimkit Creative and How it works, there’s also about other stuff, like the forums, but we’ll get into that later.
#1: What’s Gimkit Creative?
Let’s start with the old eras, and how Gimkit Creative was born.
On Gimkit’s tweets on Twitter, Josh and his team, Pharlain and Jeffo, have been making gamemodes in gimkit for awhile.

It’s not about the forum and I don’t think learning about Gimkit’s history is essential to understanding it.

All of the non forum guides are gone, now do we maybe trim some of the unnecessary ones, like the one below?
Hello!
Everyday new people come into the forums for requesting for help, and it’s our job to welcome them!
Everytime you see this banner on top of a reply:
[2023-08-17 14_41_08-One-Way door for multiple players_ - Help - Gimkit Creative]
Well it’s pretty straight forward, they are new to the community.
If you ever see this, welcome them! You could do this in a few ways but it is completely up to you.
You could get creative, or just not do it if your a bad person (Not that anyone here is).

Keep stuff like the color systems, tag definitions, etc. What people would need to know when they first j0in the forum. Welcoming is more like something you should do to be polite, but not something you must do.

I think it’s trimmed down to the essentials, but they are spread across mini guides, and some larger guides overlap.

Do you think this one applies? I think it’s extremely useful to know about but not sure if it’s essential.

I suggest that community-poll be reserved for important use, like for the devs.

We’re talking about tags.

It’s too detailed. Maybe some parts are useful, but I agree it could be cut.

We’re doing some reorganization of the forums, currently simplifying beginner-must-read

I agreed with Kyro a while ago to remove it, but since Josh used it I guess it can stay but just reserved for them.

There’s been a lot of misuse of tags, so we’re trying to clean them up

Tag misuse, beginner must read being a nightmare to read, etc

Let’s be real, this is never gonna happen. Maybe cut this one?
I know sometimes we all get confused on how to do certain mechanics, especially new users, but please, before posting a post in the help category, look to see if there is a guide for it! Lately I’ve seen tons of posts in the help category that already had guides about the question! So please check for any guides before you post, and if you don’t find one suitable for your needs, then you can post. Please don’t clutter up the forums.
