Can you make a portal in gimkit?(I mean a real portal, not a teleporter.)

Please help me with this.

What exactly do you mean? Do you want it to behave like a nether portal, where you sit in an area and it teleports you after a period of time, or something else?

Unfortunately, I am not bird.

If you don’t want to use a teleporter, make a zone and link it to a teleporter. If you want a delay, connect the zone to a wire repeater with a delay on it, and then link that to the teleporter.

What does this mean? if you just want it to look like a portal you could put props over one.
can you give more context?

You can use barrier art, props, or custom shapes to make it look like a portal, and then use a teleporter. If you want, you can connect the teleporter to a zone.

I mean… maybe? You’d have to have difinitive teams, and probably some block code. But I think make it activate a sentry on the other side of the “portal” that’s on the same team as you are, have it fire, and then deactivate?

lol some_kid we had the same idea

Now that is a far more interesting question.
Something you could do is detect when a projectile hits the portal by detecting a sentry knockout, and then build a cannon that triggers when that occurs.

Hey Goat.

It's not impossible

For the portal… This only works if you have one type of gadget on your map.
Make a teleporter with an invisible prop inside it. The teleporter can’t teleport you, but the prop hidden by it has a durability of however much damage the gadget does. When the prop is destroyed by gadget fire, it broadcasts a signal activating a repeater cycle, temporarily activating a sentry sentry on the other side of the portal, allowing it to fire off one shot with whatever gadget your map uses. The channel also reactivates the prop, allowing this to be done as many times as possible. If you have any questions about this, please ask, as I poorly explained this.

I’ll try my best, but I’m a busy guy.
