So I was having this idea for this game where there are four teams and they all have to capture a point. (Pretty much TF2) The thing I was wondering about in it is how would a sn!pers perch work? I get it cant be crazy high up, no item in Gimkit has reach like that, and in a game like Gimkit you are going to have it be facing top or down, like said before this is supposed to be 4 bases, one on the top bottom, left and right, only two bases get the advantage. How else could you build one for the other two teams and how would I even make it work? (Keep in mind these are just ideas, as of now I have no real plan to make any sort of team based game) Also outside of the sn!per idea, what ideas for a base do y’all have in general?
you could try using a camera point for the snip3r perch?
when you enter the zone
the camera point is activated and you can see ahead to snip3 people
theres probably some problems with this but i havent tested it yet
its the best i can do considering zooming out isnt possible

That could work but your going to have to be REALLY careful with your shots, I do like the idea but its not crazy accurate.
Yes, camera points just let you see, not teleport there. If you try to sh00t you’ll be f!ring where you are, not where the camera point is.
All I can really think that you could do is have it either be really close to the ground and conflict area, or on top of a hill right in the action, either way your a easy target, I do think the camera can really work its just you are GOING to miss your shot.
Also is this game a platformer or top-down?

I don’t know about your sn!ping ideas, but for bases you could make them themed (one could be space, another could be vortex/echo kinda thing, one could be farm, e.t.c). I don’t know if that’ll look weird or matter too much, but you can try…? Sorry if this is unhelpful lol

it might work but its really limited
waypoints are usually set to a fixed area, where the waypoint is. I think you can use player coordinates? I’m not sure though. All I know if that the waypoint will point where the device itself is.
Something like that is going to be a headache to set up, this is a crazy idea but maybe is there a way to increase your scope? Or would that be too similar to the camera thing?

actually being able to see the positions of all players at all times might be a better idea then a snip3r perch
