Base ideas kinda sorta?

That sounds a little overk!ll don’t you think? I was planning on classes too yeah, pretty much the ones from TF2

i wish there was a way to make players behind walls invisible to the waypoints but unless gimkit adds raytracing or something the only way to do that would probably be a lottt of zones
which would be really bad for the memory
or somehow keeping all of the walls as coordinates and seeing if the line between the player and enemy crosses through some of those coordinates
same thing ^ bad for the memory

Something like that would actually be really good, back on the map thing I was planning for it to be like this hilly farm so you could have these steep hills that go close to the point where you can easily hit people with it, but then again would the reach go as far as I’m planning? I also like that it could be good it would also save the hassle of too much memory

the sho0ting range is around 64-62m (tiles) if that helps

Does the range change any amount with the variant?

nope
tested it with the common and legendary

also quantum portal goes around the same length as twister actually (around 62m)
but the problem is that its incredibly slow

This ain’t Minecraft by any means, but could there be a way to increase something like a tick speed? I know you can make your gim go faster, so why not your projectiles?

Use sentry’s they are able to fire when you can’t see them

The Sn!per is suppose to be a player, not a npc

gimkit doesnt seem to use anything like ticks
but it would be great if bullets could travel faster

Slingshot has the fastest projectile, right? Just give the Long-range class (SN!p3r) a specific damage boost and use some devices to set ammo before reloading to 1. There are guides on custom ammo and reload speed. I’ve seen them.

PS: I don’t really know much about TF2.

2nd PS: I’m feeling a bit better compared to this morning. Today is the 2nd day of end-of-Term testing, so I have had a lot of time to rest and tomorrow is the first day of Winter Break! :smiley: And I spent so long typing this the headache pain stopped until I zoned back in XD.

Also I kinda agree, projectile speed should be customizable, but that honestly seems like it would delve into dev level editing and ruin what makes each Gadget unique.

That actually could work really well! With the whole sn!pers perch thing I think I have it set, the map is super hilly so the sn!pers could take full advantage of that, with the damage boosts I will have to find out if they stack or not, also i wanted to say thank you everyone for the great ideas! While I could not think or find a way to implement them, I am still thankful for providing the ideas.

You can’t stack damage boosts, but you could change the boost to become higher under certain conditions.
