Nice job and welcome to the forum! You could include this in here:
Thanks for the guidance!
No problem! I do what I can, whenever I can!
For this specific problem I couldnāt. I needed to limit the TOTAL number of items, meaning a player couldnāt hold multiple different items as well. Limiting in this way is currently not possible with a single inventory item manager, although the manager is still a part of the solution I found. Hope that answers your question.
This is partly a bump and partly a reminder/update to this guide:
AUO does not just work for wires. It actually works for all devices that can be found in-game, as far as I know. (not including props, those havenāt been tested yet)
Is this because wires function on checks every tick?
Hmm I get it. So 1 wire (ie. older) always contradicts the other! This is very useful, it solves my problem for a card game Iām making in GKC
I just use delays when in doubt lol.
I found a use for AWO, FIshtopia style selling cash multipliers, have the wires placed first on the 1.5x machines, and you deactivate/activate them
Is AWO just advanced wire order
(cus thats just auo still lol)
also bumpity bump bump on one of the most important creative concepts there is
Did you see the AUO family post? Anything A_O is a type of AUO.
I did, yes.
Iām just unsure why we actually need it, itās all AUO, and ā in an even more general sense ā resolution order.
Calling it A_O just makes it faster to figure out what type of AUO weāre talking about.
I agree with the idea, but we need to modify this so that we have levels of resolution priority.
We know that channels always send faster than wires⦠is that what you mean?
edit: changed from slower to faster, yes youre right lol
also @getrithekd what the heck is a channel slot
Like devices vs. wires vs. channels vs. channel slots. Also, donāt channels send it faster than wires?
Seeing as it appears basically impossible for us to stay on topic here, Iām starting to think about closing this post. But, for now, can someone make a new wiki bump?
This is actually used very often, like for end-game widgets, AUO is necessary.
@Haiasi, you and your annoying like notifications will be missed, nice songwriting tho.
This post has gotten super off topic recently, and thereās no new contributions to it or anything. Because of this, I will be closing the post. Please do not leave any further comments while the post closes.
As much as I donāt want to close this post, thereās really no point in keeping it open anymore. If you disagree, scroll up and find the last posts that were on topic about this.
Thanks!

Recently, I discovered when two players are in the exact same position and you attack them with a weapon, the first one that you will knock out will be the person who joined first, so the AUO order could be whatever functions are loaded first.
AUO is very helpful to minimize the use of blocks as well.
