Advanced Logic Gates In GKC

So, wasup guys. *cringe

Ok, so basically, you know me. Im weird. I try to do things the most inefficent way. So, LETS MAKE A COMPUTER IN GIMKIT.
Ik, yes, i sound like a 5yr just joining gkc, but I have a idea. Basically, computers are just REALLY big calculators, with logic gates. A logic gate is like a device. If you give it two values, (true, or false) then acorrding to some rules, it will give you a (sometimes) different value!

Lol, i cannot teach computer sciences.

Anyways im trying to make a adder circuit in gkc. Trying to use the least amount of memory possible.

I can’t tell you how to do that, and there as been no guides on this. So, in other words, it’s not really possible yet.

ik, computers arnt entirely possible here. im just trying to lay the groundwork for one, by mkaing logic gates.

Question. how will a xor gate compare two binary numbers?

The output is true if the inputs are not alike otherwise the output is false.

And and Or gates are built into Gimkit, and Not gates also (I think). If I’m wrong about Not gates being built-in, you could also easily approximate it using if/else statements.

This is interesting, you could add all types of gates and make this a wiki! I can’t help on the logic gates themselves, but I can definitely make how to use them to do some basic functions.

Like I already have an idea on how to make files, and messages to people in the game.

Then if you want, you can even search up smth on google, and get like actual results, you can turn WiFi off to play chrome Dino game (Easter egg)

It is going to take a long time, but the finished masterpiece will be worth it. If you want to add results to your chrome, or add files to your computer(only inside the game for both) u can copy ones from this guide, and post your own to add it to a wiki with the computer stuff on it, I CANNOT WAIT!

And Gate:
Use checkers.

  • Checks on channel “andGate”
  • If (Property1 (or Property2 for the other checker) = 1), transmit on a channel to increase Property3 with a counter.
    Then, check to see if Property3 is 2.
    For Or Gates, check to see if Property3 is greater than 0.

  1. ok, so i have two numbers, lets say 101001 and 110010 how do we compare it with or, and and gates
  2. With logic gates, will this be mor efficient then block code?

I think the original post wants to not make it in block code, and actual wires and devices.

Lemme explain, I can’t answer your other question, so this one it is…

So using the logic gates to create keyword searching, and that pulls up stored results in the computer, which is pretty easy to make…

This is an Easter egg, where you can turn off the computer’s WiFi (in-game) and it shows the no internet stuff blah blah blah and then if you click the dinosaur (a button) it launches its own Dino game.

that is easy

This means that using the logic gates, we can make a google chrome in the computer, and then you can add results, or you can store files ig and those are copy and paste save code from this guide if you create another section for the actual computer.

Make this guide a wiki, and make a section to put copy and paste able files, and people can make and suggest new files and search results to integrate.

In the end, you can create a game and link it…

But that’s another day.

Why can’t we use block code? I mean, wouldn’t that be the only way (and a very simple way)? Also, you said you needed an adder circuit, but which type of adder do you need (half adder, full adder, ripple carry adder, look ahead carry adder, carry skip adder, carry select adder)? Do you need a 4-bit, 8-bit, 16-bit, ect. adder? I NEED DETAILS! Also, I’m confused about how adder logic gate stuff will make a computer? I mean, you will need to imprint complex systems that gimkit neither has the devices nor the memory for.
