What should I put as boss attacks and a section before the boss in my map?

I’m making a boss battle map in which you fight “Evil Sentry”
I want a section that you go through before the fight (Nothing can end you)
Here are some concepts I planned for the boss by default:

  • 2 Red Circles orbit the sentry, blocking off any projectiles coming toward it, they orbit faster in the 2nd phase
  • The sentry can summon minion sentries in the corners of the battlefield, the summoning interval is 10s at phase 1 and 5s at phase 2
  • Lasers will activate from the sentry with a white outline before it becomes hazardous, it shows 1 every 5 seconds on the first phase and 2 every 5 seconds on the 2nd phase

Boss attack criteria:

  • Name of Attack
  • How the attack works
  • How the sentry uses it in both phases (Any attack proposed WILL appear in both phases)

Ok, pretty sure that’s all!

Name: Falling Stones
How it works: We have rock props that look like they’re falling. When they “hit” the player/ground, we activate zones to see if the player is getting “hit” by a stone. If they are, it does damage.
Phase 1: only 3 stones at once
Phase 2: 9 stones, three at a time, then another triplet right after, then a final triplet

Name: Ground smash
How it works: Smashes the ground creating cracks that break the floor, leading to the player to fall, or take damage. I don’t know if its a platformer or top down yet.
phase 1: 3 holes open in the floor.
phase 2: 6 opens on the floor.

Name: The Dark Magician
Difficulty: easy - intermediate
2 Phases

Abilities:
-Dark spell
making the battle area with rapidly flashing lights that would greatly distract the player.
Phase 1: The interval of the flashing light will be x second
Phase 2: The interval of the flashing light will be x/2 second

-Absolute Darkness
Please note that this ability Only appears in the 2nd phase of the battle.
The dark magician could make long laser beams that will slowly approaching from one side to the other side, the player will have to dodge both the incoming lasers and the projectiles cast by the sentry(ies).

There will be an interval of 3-8 seconds before Dark Magician could cast another laser beam.

we arent suggesting multiple bosses
only attacks for 1 boss, read the attack criteria.

@Here_to_help how about I put ! as warnings of where the rocks are going to fall?

Stunning Powder: Every so often the boss will throw a powder that will leave players immobile.

You absent most of the criteria…

Btw can I choose to do it all at once? (All 9 stones fall at the same time) It would make the attack feel stronger

Thanks! Glad to be back! Just a suggestion for your idea-
What if it’s more like lines, not holes. Lines across the ground open up when the boss hits the ground, and we can activate lasers to make it work.

I had a boss concept which did involve lasers:
