You could add like different themes

Wild Stage: There are sentries of wild animals everywhere. You have to find a spear or some sort of very early style gadget. Zap all the sentries while doing some parkour to make it to the next stage.
Minecraft stage: You have to go around and collect resources to upgrade your gadgets and crafting table. Upgrade the table enough so that you can craft a portal to make it to the next stage.
Future stage: This is the final stage. There is a giant sentry mech. You have to use advanced gadgets and lasers to knock down the mech. At the end, you venture past the destroyed remains of the mech as you find your house, old and decayed. You find a note that says, “Hi, me. I know that you came this way as a fun adventure. If you are reading this, then get back to our time. The house is being knocked down on 9/6/2035. Get out before then. I hope the journey was worth it.” A giant wrecking ball comes in and knocks down the house before the credits roll.
