Using counting other than base 10 in Gimkit

@here Reopened and unmarked solution.

Wait what happened @Here_to_help? Was it a mistaken mark or something?

I accidentally hit the solution button and it closed ._.

And you didn’t notice or something… ouch that must’ve been quite the surprise when you logged on again haha.

Oh and also, not to be the grammar police but you spelled division wrong…
do as you will with that information.

Also I think it’s so you can have one digit numbers to save space or something @Here_to_help. Because usually 15 would be, you know, a 1 and a 5, but with a base other then base ten you can potentially avoid it? I’m not following this that much so I could be totally wrong.

So yeah, any system where you could potentially need that extra space?

By the way, what exactly is the point of this? I mean it’s cool and all, but like is it gonna be useful like a randomly generated maze, or is this pretty much just for funzies?

It’s gonna be useful. Crating a system with two digit numbers is quite difficult at times.

Yeah I took a nap and logged on after I woke up haha.

Are you just trying to make a system that takes a number and makes it binary (or whatever base)? I’m just confused on the base objective here.

trying to do math in other bases

its harder than it looks

I don’t know why I’m up at 3 in the morning working on this but I’m super frustrated at my code for addition

nice I lned up the photos [1]

I get this error message

  1. I think you can tell I’m tired by my typing haha. I’ll explain what my piece of code does in the morning. ā†©ļøŽ

  2. also listening to the in game music while typing this its a jam ā†©ļøŽ

I solved my problem and its working perfectly now ahhhhhhhhh

I better get some sleep :P

Edit: I’m adding onto the first post. Check that again in a bit after I’m done editing it.

Uh, Inky has a new rule where you cannot bump research topics without contributing anything so… just remember that for the future I guess?

I know, a lot of people missed you lol.

Oops sorry I just got off from a requested ban so I’ve missed so much… Thanks though :D

:*D… and that’s all I have to say about that

I made a system for converting numbers from decimal to binary in Gimkit a while back for a guide idea, but I’ve deleted the map since them. I’ll see if I can figure out how I did it, but if I can, the problem will be trivial. We can just convert to decimal, modify the number, then convert back.

Sorry I’ve been inactive for a week. I’ll probably be inactive still, as I’m helping set up the Prodigy Group (link in my bio)[1]

  1. Probably a bit too much advertising, but whatever ā†©ļøŽ

Well I found out yesterday that my addition method works for subtraction, multiplication, and deviation if I change one simple thing ._.

I’ll try to get these screenshots back soon. So uhh I think this is solved accidentally now lol

what is deviation? or am I just being skib again

That’s my willingness to not care about my spelling haha.

It’s supposed to say Division

I actually used voice to text just now don’t judge.
