I really like this ide- making a video just for those who want to learn. A better idea would be to make a series of videos, rather than just one though.
Again, that is basically what the resources are for. But they aren’t going to search for their answer, they are just going to ask because it’s easier.
oooh good point. And a Playlist of common questions / things people ask about. Also, we know enough to ideally put a tutorial for all the popular builds.
The big problem with resources is people are lazy, and don’t link the right things. I once saw someone link an entire tutorial to among us with like 30 guides, when one of them was all that was needed.

a Playlist thats aptly named could be searched with ctrl + f. If we do a good job people would use it

I know. So much would be fixed if when you created an account, a big popup would say, "THERE IS A SEARCH BAR! USE IT! But that isn’t true. So we need to communicate blocks to them in a way that looks like blocks.
Haha no it wouldn’t people are still lazy- you have no idea how many people don’t read the basic info in the gimkit discord and then ask questions that are answered in the welcome info.
YES, that is painful to see (also why I never link guides, I would rather just teach them). I honestly think guides are a bit of a bad practice for non purple and black level mechanics. People need to explore to get better and guides don’t generally do a good job of explaining something, because the person just copies it without thinking about it.

I’ve talked to some of them before, and they probably remember I exist and I’m the coder gimkit guy and that’s about it haha

Do you think it’s doable to convince them to give a free season pass if I make significant contributions to pushing the bounds of gimkit? I can’t get it myself for a few reasons, such as not having a credit card yet, and it would be nice to be able to have map space lol.
