Well its something.
Unfortunately this guide does not go into PHOTOSHOPPING. >:(

Thanks @TorontoBulls1! I use photopea now! also, sorry for disturbing you. its been 2 months.

photoshopping is too ez to do,
that I have no need of explaining it.

day Idk anymore of wanting to improve my guide:
I still can’t

photoshopping might be hard if your using a school computer could never be me hj

Isn’t photoshopping like, copy and pasting an image of a gim, placing it on the canvas, copy pasting a bg, and calling it a day?

Yup, although you’ll normally need to add more than that.

BUMPITY BUMP! Nice guide! Koro Sensei, we’ve go some anime fans in here!

The interface of Kleki 💻 📕

when you open Kleki, you’ll be greeted with this simple screen:

What's where?

Here is the edited image, showing you the basic tools:

*control v is for pasting, ctrl z and y are undo and redo

Using the *Paint* tool to make your sketch/lineart 📕

Now go ahead and open kleki.com, will you?
next, open the drop-down menu if the paintbrush isn’t selected.
image

simply click, and drag on the blank area to make lines!
see this?

that’s the stabilizer! it makes the brush movement slower depending on the # setting.

  • it’s great for making cleaner lines & curves!!
  • Stabilizer

Stabilization makes it easier to control your lines by lagging behind and averaging your drawing motion. This is mostly used to create clean final lineart. It can also help making drawing easier in general when you only have a mouse.

The responsiveness of no stabilization is desirable for fast sketching or for large brush sizes where jitter is less visible.

I'm using the Paint bucket tool, and it doesn't look great.. how can I fix this? ✅

Great question, chap!

Paint Bucket:

To cleanly fill your drawing with colors (without white pixelated edges) do the following:

  1. Draw your lines on a new layer.
  2. Select the layer below.
  3. Select the Paint Bucket and set “Grow” to a value greater than 0.
  4. Fill.

Grow makes the filled area grow by the specified amount. Choose the right Grow amount depending on how thin or thick your lines are. You find the Grow dropdown at the bottom right of the Bucket Tool.

If areas get filled which you did not intend to fill, lower the Tolerance slider. If that doesn’t help, check your lineart for small gaps. A 1 pixel gap is enough for paint to escape its enclosure.

How can I save my art for when I close my tab?💻 ✅

Browser Storage

Stores a snapshot of your image including layers locally in your browser. Reopening Kleki will restore the image.

Important:

  • The browser may delete your image unprompted if you clear your cache or run out of disk space.
  • No autosaving
  • Stores 1 image at a time across all tabs

Use Save for permanent storage.

note, this doesn’t mean it will save when you sign out of your device.

"Kat's "cheap rendering" trick🖋

take your almost-finished product, and add a new layer above:
image

set your blending to **color burn NOT DODGE SORRY :sob: **
image

take the soft brush, and find a fitting color to the image and go over it!:

then go ahead to edit-> triangular blur
then set the radius to your preference:

and done!

Kleki's PERSPECTIVE tools 📑🌟

If you’ve taken art, you might have had an assignment on perspective, so i’m trusting you know what it is!

now, go to the edit tab and find these:
image

Using VANISH POINT:
when using vanish point on a layer, it will look like this!
image

vanish point helps you know where to use for the perspective tool, or other things!

PERSPECTIVE tool:
when using perspective tool, you are able to manipulate shapes, and layers to give the illusion of perspective!
