I’ve made a lil’ head cannon for the lore that I think works:
playtime co. gim factory had a tragic accident known as the “hour of play” The Bigger Bodies Initiative backfired drastically and the monsters stormed the factory, removing everyone in sight. the creatures were angry at the company for committing to the horrible experiments that turned the gims into what they are today. years after the incident, the player arrives at the now-ruined factory, but why? [1]

I obviously changed a few of the titles because of the risk of copyright and whatnot. I’ve also come up with names for different mechanics like: hand pack, hand cannon (from chapter 3), charged hand, kinetic hand (the purple one), and the torch hand
