The gimaginor's study: the wonderous table! part one chapters 1 + 2

Hello! My name is GIMAGINE! This is my first guide! Now, to my belief this does follow the TOS, but of course I’m a basic user and that is in the hands of YOU. Hopefully it is fine cause it took a long time to make- ANYWAYS. This guide is about the art of a very useful prop, THE TABLE. Don’t think I’m only gonna give you a shallow swim, we are going to take a large look into the table. Thee reason I made this is I one day hope to be a table, and this is the only way I can cope until I do. This part of the series will be the first two chapters, because I don’t want it to get too lengthy.

Tables can be found everywhere, some of you may be even sitting at a table! Now, tables are great things to have in your home. A standard table looks like this:

But there are many different types of tables. If you do not know what a table is I will provide you with a definition from GOOGLE.

Tables were made and used by the Ancient Egyptians very early, around 2500 BC . They were constructed with wood and alabaster, often little more than stone platforms used to keep objects off the floor, though a few examples of wooden tables have been found in ancient tombs. Tables are often accompanied by chairs, which are to sit on. Chairs often look like this:

If you don’t know what a chair is used for this is the dictionary definition:

Nobody knows who invented the chair. Now even though we know what they (tables) look like in real life lets look at them in gimkit:

I will not include chairs because I did not spend 5 hours researching chairs.

Tables are ordianary household items, but they don’t always go in every room. Desks are a type of table, If you don’t believe me here’s proof:

Now there are places where a table should and shouldn’t be. The main buildings we will be exploring for spots to put tables are:

  • homes
    🇭🇴🇲🇪🇸
lets start with the main place: HOMES
Homes will be divided into 3 subsections to our subsection:
  • Bathroom
  • Living Room
  • Bedroom

🇧🇦🇹🇭🇷🇴🇴🇲
For our bathroom we will make a example. here is our example:

For a bathroom, places we can put tables may vary deeply. My main use for tables in restrooms is as a counter, and as a soap holder,. An example for a table as a counter would be something like this:
Screenshot 2024-08-26 4.32.08 PM
Then a table as a soap holder could look something like this:
Screenshot 2024-08-26 4.36.48 PM
Those are two ways a table could be used in a bathroom!

Welcome to the living room! The living room is a nice lounge space to sit in and a lot of times watch television! Let’s make ourselves an example!

Now, without tables its pretty boring. the main 2 ways I use a table in a living room is as a coffee table, and as a television stand! Now lets start with a coffee table. a coffee table is usually a table to hold things and can look somewhat like this:
Screenshot 2024-08-26 4.50.17 PM
And now for the Television stand. the television stand can hold up the television. There are many ways a television stand can look, but my example will be this:
Screenshot 2024-08-26 4.55.37 PM
Those are two ways you can add tables to your living room!
🇧🇪🇩🇷🇴🇴🇲
Now for our bedroom, there is only onefairly simple ways to use tables as an important aspect. Number one is as a shelf and number two is a vanity. But before we get into that lets make a bedroom diagram.

Now lets start. A vanity can look like many things, but for my example I will be showing this:

Hello! You may of noticed this is not all of the chapters listed, this is because this is only part 1! the reason I’m doing this is I’m scared that I’ll hit the limit while typing, so its gonna be separated! If you go back and look at the chapters, you will know what to expect in part two! For this part in particular I do not know what to list it as so for now, it will be listed as community made guides, please tell em what this would be! Be expecting part two soon! I will start on it right after this is posted!

Nice guide @Gimaginor. I like it!

I feel like I’ve lived a full lifetime reading this lol. This was pretty cool, I feel like some parts were a little “unnecessary” but I might actually use some of these suggestions in the future.

Nice guide

Thank all of y’all so much, when I saw so many people commenting I honestly freaked out-

“Oh my goodness, are they about to flag me! There’s no reason for so many people to be commenting!!”

“Oh, they just wanna say nice guide and complimented my guide! Phew.”

Who added “the art of…” tag?

might’ve accidentally clicked it (took it off tho)

No clue

ain’t me (can’t even make tags anymore)

maybe it’s just a random tag from a long time ago. Lets just ignore it.

This is just part one? I can’t wait to see if/when you add part 2. I feel you on the freaking out part as well. “Oh no, did I break the guidelines” “Oh no, is this a duplicate guide” The struggle is real

It might be, there were a lot of guides in the past that said “In the art of…”

honest but why do you need to write a whole chapter book about a table
