Isn’t this a forum related guide?
The similar guides don’t have the forum-tips tag.
I just saw CassiusDoomlorde’s post about gimkit maps, and I also saw @twofoursixeight ’s comment below about chromebooks. Since it was limited, I decided to make a similar version to what cassius did, except for a chromebook.
(There’s no images because my files are blocked for some reason.)
FOR CHROMEBOOK:
Press the right Ctrl+Shift+the 6th key on the topmost row. (or the window key(I’m not talking about microsoft windows))
Start at the top left corner and drag it the frame over until it …
So you know how you take a screenshot of your map, and then you block out the code, you get annoyed over the buttons covering up your work, and all of that?
Well, there is an easier way!
[Note: This was done in Microsoft Edge, so the menus may look different on your computer.]
Right click on the screen once you have the right view. Don’t worry about the code or buttons on your screen.

Hit ‘Save Image’. [or copy image to save it temporarily.]

This is my version of screenshotting maps, hiding the codes. This removes the code entirely from Gimkit so it will never appear anymore.
So forum posts are allowed if they tell people how to follow the rules?

It’s my take on the screenshot guides, relying on a chrome extension to hide the code.
But hasn’t jeffo said that guides related to the forums or just not relating to GKC are prohibited?

No action was taken on those guides, so these guides are fine.
They partially rely on Gimkit Creative by the Way.
That’s because there were no flags to alert jeffo and they were made pretty recently. Don’t use the excuse of others posting similar, prohibited guides to post your own one.

I can ask Jeffo if those are allowed.
I don’t mind my name being in the SS

it’s just suggesting a way to take a screenshot correctly what’s wrong with that? This is related to gimkit creative anyway.
The mods have told us to not make guides pertaining to the forums in the past. This is one of those. Is taking screenshots related to GKC?
Nah, I think that you’re just too keen on these kind of topics. Personally, I think this is useful, but you can flag this if you want.
You can also just right click on the terrain and do ‘save image as’ on Chromebook.
