Ok then, hmmm, the player is attempting to slay the main boss in order to avenge his familys lost fortune that the BBG stole?

I’ll definitely help with endings soon, but for now,

here’s some DON’Ts:

• Don’t make each ending end the game entirely. That should be an option for the player to continue playing or to stop.
• Don’t make it themed around “3AM” or “4AM”. Those games have horrible reps.

and some DOs:

• Make the endings diverse, but reasonably achievable.
• Look on discovery and check out some other games like that. It’ll help you get the ideas flowing, and you’ll be able to mix some endings from other creations. Inspiration, kinda.

Here are some story ideas:

• Investigating a secret government lab.
• Explore cave’s in snowy mountains
• Survive a robot takeover and look for survivors.
• Look into the deep dark realms of space exploring for aliens.
• You shrunk and need to find a way to grow back to regular size.
• You’re lost in a forest at nighttime and need to escape.
• You were kidnapped and taken to a underground society of monsters, you have to escape.

Probably the kidnapped by monsters story.

Story: You were kidnapped and taken to a underground society of different types of monsters.

Endings:

Trapped: You accepted your fate and decided to stay there as a hostage.

One of them: You befriended the monsters and lived there as one of them.

Overtook: You somehow outwitted the king of the underground city and became the new leader.

Deal with a trickster: You accepted a deal with the trickster of the underground city, you got freedom… But for a price you’ll never fully understand.

Outlier: You crawled desperately to the normal world, only to find out you’ve changed too much, and now you no longer belong on the outside world.

Real or fake: You were close to the exit you found, though.. When you opened the door, you woke up in your own bed, unsure if it was reality or a dream?

Monsters among us: You had slowly dug your way out the underground city, you finally made it to the end, but once you got out, the monsters had came out with you, spreading into the human world.
