Pokemon mechanics question (blocks possibly required)

hey i just wanted to know if there is a way to make the grass randomized when you go into it if a pokemon comes out, and if so, how?

use zones, you can use multiple zones, and if the players enter in one of those zones, you can deactivate it, and in some details, the other zones can be activated again

I’d say use a zone. If that player is in a zone where pokemon can spawn, you can use a coordinate device to set up a randomizer that determines if a pokemon encounter happens.

The coordinate device is there to detect the player when they move so that every time the player moves, it randomly determines if a pokemon should spawn or not. This ensures that the player can’t just stay idle to get a pokemon, and they have to move through the grass to search for one. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is how pokemon games work right?
