Im trying to figure out how to code ownership on a trigger. but I’m completely lost with what to do
I’m making a game where there’s territories/zones and you can claim a territory/zone but it can also get recaptured by an enemy team
is there a guide on this?
a help topic has them adding a fish to their inventory and taking it away when they lose the territory?
I think that I made some progress with my scoring system, but something is wrong somewhere.
I was using gold keys in inventories to track scores, but the problem was that the game won’t clear inventories when a student disconnects, so the teams were able to get more than the correct number of territories (7).

Just so you know for future reference, solved topics don’t necessarily equate to relevant answers. (Also, pretty sure that thread is closed, not solved). Not totally sure what current rules are but try searching for a guide or something.

The way that I have in mind of accomplishing this is using the inventory to hide information. So if I captured the library, it puts a gold key and red fish into my inventory. The gold key is linked to the team’s score, and the red fish gives me double speed. The key and fish are lost if another team captures the library.
Something like this? Basically, you manage who has what territory by putting items into a player’s inventory… (no block code, however…)
