Hi there! I just released my first Gimkit map, and, well… it’s not doing too hot. I’m not sure if it just takes a long time for maps to get plays or what, but if that’s not the case I would like some help! Thanks!

Sorry, this forum is for Gimkit Creative questions only: basically how to build the stuff. Maybe try to improve the quality, or check if it’s on the page at all.

Make sure to check out s.rules and s.orules, along with s.faq for some extra information on what you can and can’t do.

Some tips to help your map get plays are:
- Make an actual thumbnail related to your map (you can request a thumbnail on this platform if you want)
I’m not talking about clickbait or pictures taken off the internet like this one:
- Original map names- or modified versions of popular names (Ex: Don’t look down → Never look up)
Other than these 2 things you can’t really do much about the amount of plays you get.

@Nonexsisting, i’ve done this. (I can’t do graphic designing so I made a really basic and crude drawing for what people would see lol). And secondly, I’ve also made the name original. Thanks for the tips for my (probably) future maps!
