I have made so many games published all of them and now I don’t know why I’ve only got 56 plays on my most popular one! Ideas?

what type of ideas do you need. i have tips for making them popular: 1. very good thumbnail
- a fresh and good map
- adding colors to the map which makes it interesting. but for the ideas, how about elements island, where there are element sections and they fight each other. btw i am who made gim minigames. and yeah pls respond quickly because i will eat soon

Well, to answer your question. Most games published by people don’t receive a lot of plays. The ones that are either made by popular people in the community or the game is insanely good quality. Also, it could just be eye-catching by the title.
Add quests, secrets, and interactive gameplay that makes your game good overall. The looks and prop placements and combinations are vital as well.

Try advertising your game on the wixsite, come up with a good title, make the game replayable (fun to play more than once), these are pretty generic tips but they help, I should know

I agree with Coderdash. If you want to make a replayable game, you can make it a mini games map, or a difficulty chart. I always like to replay such maps.

so sadly, the games that get the most plays are don’t look down ripoffs, and some random games that tell you not to play them..
people just are more likely to click on these, and they get more views and end up in trending..
anyways thumbnails are key, as they call players to play your game
also, apparently platformers are more likely to be played (and dld ripoffs but please dont make another one, there are too many)

in fact, everything is bad with the search in Gimkit Discovery, and even the trends suc, so, you can search by your nickname, add the name of the game in brackets at the end, example: Zipper battle (monoreukTG)

most people agreed, I gave the idea to add Tags to gimkit, but Blackhole just closed the topic saying that you need to write to their email and somewhere else, in short, there is a long story, but in one word. if you want the game to become popular, you need good Trumbnails, a good name, and a nickname at the end
