I need ideas for lore, areas, and a main villain with a reason to be a villain. I already have a plant/forest area, I need a new idea for more areas. And maybe quest ideas.

How about you make a frozen area, where your speed and damage are greatly reduced?
Like a backstory or thing that happened before
Sure, a frozen area works.
If your game is based off of the forest, why not make your lore based off of something to do with medieval England/Europe?
It’s not based off the forest, thats just the first area
What is it based off of then?
Maybe an underwater area or something with a breath meter?
I don’t know, thats one of the reasons I made the post

Why don’t you base the game off of Norway/Sweden/Finland? Everything that we described fits there.

Does your game have any fantasy elements or is it more based off of realism?
For a quest you could have a maze where you collect items and if you have those items then you can find the exit and get out
both
The thing is though, I want there to be a reason for a quest, why would someone give you that quest
Maybe they lost something in the maze
Since it’s based off of medieval Europe, perhaps you could make something based off of the Bubonic Plague? You could make an interesting villain who thinks they are the cause of the plague/is a witch or wizard, when in reality they had nothing to do with it.
