That is because the property under it is changing the answer. If the property = 1 then it will do 1 + 2 = 3. If the property = 3 then it will do 3 x 3 + 1 = 10, but also since it is even it will do 10 / 2 = 5. Hope that helps!

Thats the point - everytime it’s 1 (solve) it would increase by 2
